In a show on my period?

well I'm in a show and it's on the week tat my period is ment to come and well ter will be lots of quick changes for the show in to differnt costums in a room wit all the othe girls and lots of dancing and I want to know will I be better off to wear pads or tampons I realy need to know!!!
