Question about dying my hair (coarse/kinky hair)?

Im sorry to have to tell you this but you are only going to be able to use permanant color to lift your hair from being that dark. Semi permanant only deposits on color and won't lift it at all. Also you are going to have a hard time with permanant color damaging your hair if you are getting a perm that close to it. I work at a beauty supply store and the only thing you are going to be able to use is a permanant color or bleach to lift it then go back with a permanant color. If you do have dark brown color on your hair now and if its not natural color you could try using a clarifying shampoo alot to lighten it some but it will take time and it works it you have previously dyed hair. If you do this though i would recommend conditioning while you are using this shampoo. Thats the only other thing you could do. Hope this help you.
