Lessons on accoustic guitar?

so a little bit ago i bought a new accoustic guitar for 180 an oscar shmidt and im still having troubles learning how to play it. all the videos i see on youtube go to fast and i cant keep up and just othe stuff online is just not clear its confusing. i cant read music anymore since i stopped playing my base violin and piano along time ago so im try tabs. i tried playing broken by seether today and it didnt sound right and i couldnt get the chords right. what im having troubles with the most is hammering, strumming, and the cord combinations. is there any suggestions or sites i should go to?
