Honestly, I think the best thing could do is to back off and give her space. Which means no more family dinners. I have been in her situation before and she probably wants space and time to explore who she is and what she likes and dislikes in a mate. Since you guys are about to go off to college she may feel that going to college in a relationship is putting to much pressure on her. I would just let her have control over the situation. Let her come to you when she is ready to talk. Use this time a part to figure out what makes you happy and explore your other relationship options. Have fun being single. I think that it may shock her to see you happy and that she may want you back in her life. I would not go sky diving with her. I would wish her congrats for graduating and give her a nice neutral friend gift. I promise you I know how she is feeling and when I was in her position there was nothing my ex could do to change my mind about my decision.
